Venerable Chang-Kuan entered the Dharma Drum Sangha University (DDSU) in 2004, studying under the Buddhist Study program. In 2006, Venerable received full ordination. Since 2008, Venerable has served in different DDM centers in Taiwan, such as Dharma Drum Degui Academy, Nung Chan Monastery and Zhai Ming Monastery. She became a member of the Chan Meditation Center in New York since 2017.
Venerable speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese, and understands English.
