Hurricane Sandy Relief Report

Immediately after the disastrous Hurricane Sandy hit the eastern states of United States on October 29th, 2012, DDMBA North America Charitable Foundation initiated caring efforts through fund-raising activity. By the end of February, 2013, DDMBA has raised a total of about US $ 74,000. DDMBA has then decided to donate all fund raised to Food Bank for New York City to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

On March 20th, 2013, a donation ceremony was conducted at Food Bank of New York City, to transfer all donation to Food Bank of NYC.  On behalf of DDMBA, Mr. Chiu Ling Wang attended the ceremony to present DDMBA’s donation and care.   The donation was received by Ms. Alyssa Herman (Chief Development Officer), Ms. Ijeoma Obilo (Director of Engagement & Service), Ms. Lee Cheney and Ms. Chantel Raven (Event Coordinator), all from Food Bank for New York City.
