Chan teaching. During the visit, Ven. Mahinda replied in detail to Master Sheng-yen’s
inquiry about what method of meditation he taught, and from whom he learned the
method. Ven. Mahinda then asked for Master Sheng-yen’s teaching on Chan.
Master Sheng-yen presented him with one of his English book, “Hoofprint
of the Ox”, and welcomed him to come back and continue the discussion. Ven.
